Only a few days left...

Don't miss this amazing exhibition at OCMA only open through May 27th! I've always admired, but never had a connection with the work of Richard Diebenkorn like I do now. The video presentation of him speaking of his art life was a truly unique experience. Read Christopher Knight's review from the Los Angeles Times.

Art Los Angeles Contemporary 2012

Last month I had the opportunity to pop into the Art Los Angeles Contemporary in Santa Monica. Its so wonderful to be able to see Art from across the country and from overseas as well in one place. Interestingly, my two favorite artist's works there were both represented by the Daniel Weinberg Gallery here in Los Angeles.

The art of Frances Richardson caught my eye instantly and drew me into the Daniel Weinberg booth, despite the fact they weren't flashy but soft, alluring... and obsessive!

Here are some detail shots I took of the art pieces. Amazing!

It is undeniable that I have an affinity for "getting lost in intricate doodles," as the Los Angeles Times describes the art of Daniel Zeller. Love it!
